The Waterfowl Hunters Expo was born from a bold idea in 2019, when a group of passionate Wisconsin hunters set out to reimagine the long-running Wisconsin Waterfowl Hunters Conference. Their vision? Create a dynamic, Midwest-wide event that celebrates our waterfowling heritage, educates the community, and inspires action to protect wildlife and habitat for the future. In 2020, the event was renamed to reflect its expanded scope—bringing together hunters, conservationists, industry experts, and families for a one-of-a-kind experience. Today, the WHE is a vibrant mix of seminars, contests, hands-on activities, and networking, where every visitor—young or old—can learn, connect, and celebrate the sport they love.
